Finally done with our porch. It was a process, but now that it’s done I’m glad I did it. Makes our porch feel so much bigger and gives some extra atmosphere. This was basically the process minus the sealing.

Had some fun trying out a cookie combo with chocolate chips + Potato chips + Pretzels. I was going to a salty sweet. Going to keep working on the consistency I want, but they were pretty good.

My daughter & I painted lunch bags for Meals on Wheels last night. This is for NCL @lonestar_ncl & the elderly community will receive their lunches in them for a cheery delivery.

This would be such a fun craft/project for kids this summer to have future fun lunch sacks stocked for school or whatever. Super easy, we used stamps, paint, & markers…stickers would be a fun add too.

DIY outdoor pavers 🌻 I wanted a sitting area in this side yard nook, but with the charm of tile…so painted these pavers & used a stencil. I would have spaced them out maybe a little wider, but love the look.

Wrapped up VBS this week at our church! Everyone put so much work into this to serve the kids & glorify the Lord. “Magnify the Lord” was the focus, so the curriculum called for creating these painted backdrops. These were hand cut foam boards a talented lady cut and prepped with a coat of paint & projected tracings. Was about 7 eight foot panels. I painted the designs using acrylic paint, just the cheap tube paint Hobby Lobby, it went a long way! About 1-2 coats per panel…lots of paint mixing, snacking in between, fresh air breaks, & Hallmark movies in the background to pass the time 😂 Our living room is pretty small, so it was an event each day I painted. I think they turned out so cute, & love the giant mushrooms and dandelions another creative lady made! Teamwork 🙌 If you are doing any projects like this and have any questions on the process just ask.
