Texas native, wife to my best friend, & mama to our three beautiful girls. I guess you could say I am a lover of the arts...anything creative, anything I can make or decorate, design, or curate. I have a small home art studio/Etsy shop & currently enjoying being a homemaker & making our home cozy & sweet. I was a cake decorator for 15+ years, but changed paths last year.

I started this blog because I felt called to. I love to write, but I've quieted that passion over the years. This blog is a way to share all the things I'm inspired by, the beauty & creativity that are in the everyday. It's never only one particular thing...it's an eclectic array of things that light up life. From painting a blank canvas, to a song that pops on the radio, to the scent of lavender, baking a new recipe, a cute coffee mug, pretty color palettes, vintage sepia photographs, designing a little nook space, a new block print table cloth, decorating for the seasons, & the list goes on.

 

Mainly though...I want to share my faith & what the Lord is teaching me as I walk with him in relationship & through His word. We are to be a light to the world & keep our lamps lit...so I pray this little blog space would be used to illuminate the truth, bring God glory,  & point to how Jesus is the way, the truth, & the life.
